Although most care is donated by various persons, situations arise which require additional funding. For example: a child may require emergency care, prescription medications, visa renewals, money for airfare, etc. Occasionally a participating hospital will request a percentage of reimbursement before donating the remainder of the child’s care. All money received goes to the care of the children and does not fund administrative costs.
